    Anyway, the latest demo client 84 is available at http://synapse-emr.s3.amazonaws.com/synapse.exe

    and it expires in mid-April.  So, I don't understand why vtpaindoc says it has expired.

    The demo client allows access to the demo server, and to localhost servers.

    I continually get "not available in demo version" when i try to change to my local server.

    Use this server version.

    THE CLIENT tells me that it doesn't support logging into local host.

    I just downloaded http://synapse-emr.s3.amazonaws.com/synapse.exe and it offers to login to localhost.

    So, seems likely you're not understanding something.

    Show us screen shots of the login screen, and the failure message.

    That's correct.  The demo client only supports localhost, and the demo server.

    Localhost = 127.0.0.1

    So, if you have a server, and want to access it using the demo client, you need to run the demo client on the server and access it as localhost.  And your server needs to run on port 8011 which is the default if you don't use a cmd/bat script to set the server settings.

    okay; it works on the server as a local host which, for my needs at this time, is fine.  Thank you for clarifying that.
