Dictation Management and the Typist Tab

I would like to start dictating soon more frequently.

I have been investigating how my dictated notes will travel to my staff and how the transcription process will work for me.

After Hitting Finalise and Remove, the Typed in Text does not Blank.

The typist Tab should have a minimal refreshing schedule ... especially for someone Logging IN as a typist.

visual cues to Refreshing the Tab.

do an AJAX type thing with the entire GUI.

You could put the Refresh Button at the top and tell the user when they last refreshed.

I wouldn't mind knowing how many dictations I did, and how many are not dictated yet.

For my secretary ... the more logical place for Dictations TO DO would be in the INBOX tab (aka .. TO DO area).

How is this feature working lately ?

I know a doctor that is looking for dictation options.

I am going to suggest a range of options.

Was wondering what options there were for "outsourcing" dictations with Synapse.

In his current workflow, he would probably be printing out the completed dictations.

Basically it's setup so that someone remotely can login and do the transcription.

AFAIK, it works ...

I found out he is using an EMR in British Columbia called Osler.
