Updating the Synapse client across the network.

If you have multiple workstations, asking everyone to update their Synapse client each time there is an update can be a bit of an effort.

One way to do this centrally is to write a batch file that accesses each Synapse.exe on each workstation, and updates it by copying the new version over the existing ones.

Of course this assumes all the client workstations are on shared drives, and that the clients are not using Synapse at the time.

    Synapse is always running.

Looks like the simple alternative is to store the latest synapse.exe on a shared drive.

Then create a batch command that copies the synapse.exe over the local version.

Copy the batch command to the local synapse directory and send a shortcut to the desktop.

Updating is then just simply quitting Synapse and running the desktop shortcut.
