Graham purchased a Mimo USB LCD monitor and has begun supporting an Ancillary Display.

I guess the major question is ... what are the usage scenarios for this secondary display ?

I have lots of multi-monitor (usually 2) setups. 

My main use is for it to display data that I want to look at during an encounter and not have to switch to another tab.

I'd really like this "2nd Synapse screen" to be customizable.

In Window Size, buttons, etc.

I guess there are two options ..

(1) hard code things for a while, see what use it can / can't be .... make a Version 2.0 that is customizable.

(2)  customize from the get go.

Thoughts ?

Why would you want synapse to only yield to the ancillary screen being "moved" to the main screen when in Consult Editor mode,  isn't this actually a more generic need ?

Synapse is more than just the Consult editor !

Doesn't move over top of.

There are issues with which screen is foremost, and therefore accepts the function keys.

The ancillary screen can not display over the consult editor and so moves it aside.

And my Mimo LCD monitor has arrived today .. it needs to use 10 points to calibrate vs the default 4.

What I am saying is why not set it up such that the ancillary screen can not display of the main synapse window or consult window ... or any other window for that matter ?

Why single out just the consult editor ?

Can't understand what you are saying.

The consult editor moves out of the way when the ancillary screen is moved to the same monitor.

Why wouldn't someone want the same behaviour when viewing results, ie. not in the consult editor ?

It's only doing that because it can't display over the consult editor.

And not because I think it's a good idea.

I don't think the ancillary display should popup automatically to start.

Make an option ?
